A Hidden Presence in Threads of Hermès

Wow...the Japanese, always & constantly leaves me speechless. The concept is sooo simple, so minimal yet so incredible & inspiring...I'm a little lost at words. This concept brings a simple sheet of Hermès silk to life, metaphorically givin it a breathe of life...bringin the notion of an invisible presence to threads of silk...
Now This is what I call a Window Display!! Without all that jazz & crazy over-load of furniture wantin to escape from the frames.

Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka's new installation is set up within Maison Hermès in Japan. Based off his 2004 window display, this new set up features a restructured design with an appearance by a famed Japanese actress.

The display can be seen until January 19th, 2010.

Tokujin Yoshioka's Concept:
“On designing a window-display of Maison Hermès, I intended to express people’s daily ‘movements’ with a suspicion of humor. There are moments when I perceive a hidden presence of a person in the movements born naturally in daily life. I created a design where one can perceive someone behind the scarves as if life were being breathed into them. The window is designed with an image of woman projected on to a monitor. The scarf softly sways in the air in response to the woman’s blow.” – TY

I'm sooo infatuated with Trigga-Trey Songz at the moment!! Omg, I'm watchin the Soul Train Awards 09 re-run, and I find myself gettin drawn to him more, and more each time I watch him sing! First up, we have one from the Classiques, the Lady Sling one of my All time Favs!! And Now they have it in Lavender!!!!!!!!!! YAYYY finally!!! I can't wait to get my Soles in these 12cm Soles!!!!

Next up, we have Studded Soles (I like how these studs are rounder compared to the Men's Studded kicks haha) They are dubbed the 'Studio 120's. They come in 3 color ways; White, Black and Brown, standin at 12cm high but I prefer the Black ones! They are killllin fo sho!

I recently started interning at Bandana Enterprises Ltd. a Fashion High Street Supplier, which I'm learning loads about! From production to development, incorporating ideas on prints, its hecticly busy, but quite fun. Non-stop action! But the best part has to be that everyone there is really nice! The Next Book I'm thinkin of Readin is 'The 50th Law' by 50 Cent, Co-author Robert Greene.

I'd like to look into 50's thoughts on Business & Sucess, he's obviously doin somthin right haha, and Robert Greene's previous book '48 Laws of Power' proves that their combined thought might lead to somthing else...or maybe it's just cuz it's 50, maybe that's why I wanna read it haha.
