Vulnerability

"If tears can help mend a broken heart, you should just pour it all out. Tears are like the blood that leaks from your broken heart. Cry it all out & your heart will do the healing."-JKwan

A friend of mine just had her heart broken last night, and hasn't stopped cryin, not understandin why or how it all happened... That is just the beginning of a lifelong shield that will be formed around the wounded heart.

Hearts are broken countless amount of times a day all around the world. Some heal faster then others, some seek another person's affection to conceal the pain, some cry their hearts out hoping to still be in the arms of the heartbreaker wantin to hear that 'everything's going to be alright'. But no matter how hard you cry, no matter how many people you try to seek comfort in, deep down your heart is still shattered into broken pieces. There is no remedy to ease this pain, there's no glue strong enough to stick the pieces back together and there will always be a flaw you can't polish out.
After a heart's been broken, the brave ones never give up and try again. The guarded ones pretend that they don't have a care in the world and won't dare to give their hearts out again. Then there are the ones that never healed, ones that can never be left alone for they are afraid of standin on their own...

Some people wonder why it's so hard to break down walls and barriers some people have, built around their hearts. Everyone's got a story, maybe reading between the lines will solve their mysteries...

TeenageDream

“Maybe the reason why I haven’t found who I’ve been searching for is because I know that I’ve already found him. It’s just up to him to say whether I am who he has been waiting for..." (Quoted)

I've often asked how people know whether they're in love or how they know "He/She's the One". I've asked one of my friends how she knew he was the one. At the moment of questioning, she could almost put her own life on the table to prove her love for him...but when the love fades & the attraction is gone, 7 years really doesn't mean anythin at all...
Recently, I've realized that some things and some people are maybe kinda 'meant' to be in our lives. And that it doesn't matter how far you've gone, how many people you've met or how long it's been, we somehow cross paths with them down the road if they're meant to be in our lives. Does that mean we're given a second chance? And if we take it, does it mean they're suppose to be the one? What if you took this chance, only to discover that this was just a crossing path you both happened to cross together, but don't arrive to the same destination. Is that just fate playin games with us? Or is it a chance we're suppose to be willing to take...

HeartFelt

Walkin around  in a gloomy, windy afternoon in the streets of London today...didn't think I was gonna be spendin money, let alone add a member to my beautiful family of soles! But these little beauties came runnin to me as I walked into the Selfridges Louboutin concession. How could I possibly ignore 'em! I think I'm in Love!! Welcome to your new home my loves!! (But damn did the rise in VAT to 20% put a dent in my credit card! Dislike!)

Dubbed 'Calgary'

THE CALGARY BAG:
This unisex, tote-style bag is a balance of fashion and function: stylish and elegant on the outside, functional on the inside, designed to fit the lifestyle of the busy modern gentleman or gentlewoman. Ideal for carrying books, technology and gym clothes over the course of a long day. The bag is entirely padded with neoprene to protect technology, and includes specially designed pockets for Ipad, Blackberries and Iphones.
The bag's name ‘Calgary’ originates from the city where Imran Amed (Founder of Business of Fashion) was born, in Alberta, Canada. The bags were designed and created at The Bill Amberg Studios in London, each being handmade by one of our very own In-house Leather Craftsmen.

£495.00

£950.00

Whenever I imagined a fashion product being named after my hometown- Calgary, I never really pictured it being a bag lookin like this...maybe it's cuz I still haven't grasped the look of this bag just yet...but to me, something's a little off, I appreciate the craftsmanship but for $800/495GBP...even though its handmade by an artisan in London, I can't see how it's worth the pricetag.

I can see the "Black Pony Skin" being a good seller, along with Tan Woven and the Tan Nubuck ones being a classic with the Heritage theme. The "Crowdsourcing Styles" are safer colors, but who knows...this may become the next "it-bag". Props to you Imran, my fellow Calgarian!
(Ps: Please don't beat me to naming shoes after 'Calgary'!)
